Position: Shipping Assistant - West Area

Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Duration: Permanent

Main Responsibilities:

Book and coordinate import shipments; handle shipping documentation, declare customs import permits, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Liaise with the operations team, customers, and transporters to ensure timely collection and delivery of cargo, shipments, and containers

Communicate with customers regarding import shipments and provide status updates

Handle data entry and maintain accurate documentation for import shipments in the system

Perform scanning and filing, and maintain organized records of all documents

Answer incoming phone calls and assist with general inquiries

Support other ad-hoc administrative and logistics duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

GCE 'O' Level / ITE or equivalent

Training will be provided

Possess initiative and be results-oriented

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Meticulous and able to work independently
