Position Overview
We are hiring a results-driven and technically competent Regional Sales Engineer to lead the growth of our Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) chemicals business across Asia. This role is pivotal in expanding the presence of our products via developing distributor partnerships, identifying new market opportunities, and supporting end-users with technical expertise. This person will be the key driver behind our regional sales performance and strategic growth. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and commercially savvy professional who thrives in building strong regional networks while driving business growth across both new and existing markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow regional sales of LPS and Dykem chemical products through:
- Managing and expanding relationships with distributors in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines
- Supporting and increasing direct sales to end-users in Singapore
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and untapped markets across the region.
- Work closely with distributors to set and achieve sales targets, provide product training, and support their market development efforts.
- Present product benefits, applications, and safety features to end-users to ensure product adoption and satisfaction.
- Track competitor activity (pricing, marketing, product positioning) and propose strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Plan and manage customer visit schedules proactively to build pipeline and convert leads into revenue.
- Submit weekly visit and activity reports with insights on market feedback, customer needs, and follow-up actions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in technical or B2B industrial sales, preferably in MRO chemicals or related industrial products
- Demonstrated ability to manage regional accounts and open new markets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging both technical users and purchasing teams
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field is a plus
