Job Description

We're seeking a Technical Project Manager (PM) Executive with hands-on IT, engineering, or software development experience to lead customized IT projects-turning complex client requirements into scalable solutions. Your degree matters less than your skills and experience. If you have a technical background, understand Agile inside-out, and can manage both stakeholders and technical teams, we want you on board.

PMP certification (or plans to pursue it) is a strong plus, but what truly matters is your ability to deliver projects efficiently.

Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Project Leadership - Own the full project lifecycle, ensuring on-time, in-scope, and on-budget delivery of IT solutions.
2. Technical Liaison - Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and engineering teams, translating requirements into actionable technical plans.
3. Agile Execution - Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives) and optimize workflows in JIRA.
4. CTO Collaboration - Assist the CTO in technical documentation, strategic follow-ups, and cross-team alignment to ensure engineering initiatives stay on track.
5. Risk & Dependency Management - Proactively identify blockers, technical debt, and resource constraints before they impact delivery.
6. Technical Documentation - Maintain clear project artifacts (SRS, TDR, User Guides) to ensure seamless handoffs and compliance.
7. Continuous Improvement - Analyze project performance and refine processes for greater efficiency.

Required qualifications

1. Experience Over Degrees - Formal education is nice, but we prioritize:
   1. Technical/engineering background (e.g., former developer, sysadmin, IT specialist, or hands-on tech roles).
   2. Proven experience managing custom IT/software projects (SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, or enterprise systems).
   3. Strong grasp of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps principles.
   4. Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Git, CI/CD tools (or similar).
2. PMP Preferred (But Not Required) - If you have it, great! If not, we'll support your journey to get certified.
3. Key Skills
   1. Ability to lead technical discussions (you don't need to code daily, but you should understand system design, APIs, or cloud architecture).
   2. Strong stakeholder management-comfortable presenting to executives and debugging with engineers.
   3. Problem-solving mindset-you anticipate risks before they escalate.
