The Enrolled Nurse is the primary contact for patients in most healthcare facilities, and is trained to provide direct nursing care to patients, implement treatment and care plans, and carry out nursing assignments under delegation, supervision or direction of a Registered Nurse.

He/She also contributes to care planning and evaluation of care for patients, along with monitoring the progress and reporting observed changes in the patients' condition and treatment responses to Registered Nurses. He/She also assists Doctors and Registered Nurses with patient examinations, medications and other treatments, and updates records on patients' condition and treatments received. Enrolled Nurses may upgrade to become Registered Nurses upon obtaining a relevant nursing diploma.
  • Nursing related duties such as setting of drips, taking of blood samples, insertion of cannula, serving medications under the supervision of a licensed medical practitioner; and other duties generally associated with the duties of a nursing profession.
  • General administrative duties including but not limited to filing, update of patient database, mailing, arranging of courier services and inventory check of drugs kept at nursing station, endoscopy room and emergency trolley etc.
  • To liaise, assist and facilitate the coordination across various stakeholders; in the preparation, execution and post-mortem phase pertaining to any medical and/or surgical procedures.
  • Assist with patient(s) registration, as well as coordination for patient movement within working environment/ Company.
  • Assist doctor in the operating theater, examination of patient, to visit patient in hospital and follow up with hospital nurses on patient hospitalization enquiries and status.
  • Prepare and conduct financial counselling for respective examinations and procedures.
  • To deliver the best patient care and strive for service excellence, to uphold the reputation of the Company.
  • Responsible for involving the regular check-ups or monitoring of the patient's statistics and condition.
  • To monitor patient's status and condition, with regard to external laboratories reports/ examinations results.
  • Assisting the doctor(s) within the working environment/ Company in performing daily clinical routines, non-invasive procedures and examinations.
  • Familiarity with the medication available within the working environment/ Company.
  • Serves as a resource person for knowledge of medication or drugs usage, side effects and dosage related to the working environment/ Company.
  • Regular upkeep and maintenance of hygiene, sterility and cleanliness of all the equipment and instruments under your charge, within your working environment.
  • Ensure that nursing station and procedure rooms are neat and clean.
  • Accurate, precise and legible nursing documentation
  • Infection control practice, standard and transmission precaution, isolation care and reverse isolation care, disposal of sharps/waste/linen
  • To exercise due diligence pertaining to the usage of consumables and office supplies.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assign by the Operations Manager, Centre Manager, Medical Director and/or the respective Doctor.

Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least NITEC / Diploma in Nursing
  • Required language(s): English
  • At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required Skill(s): clinical nursing skills
  • Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Healthcare - Nurse/Medical Support & Assistant or equivalent.
