Position Overview

To support our growing business, we are hiring a proactive and experienced Warehouse & Operations Manager to lead and optimize our warehouse operations. This role goes beyond daily supervision-it's about driving continuous improvement across all warehousing functions. You will play a key role in streamlining processes, implementing technologies such as barcoding systems, and enhancing overall efficiency, accuracy, compliance and safety. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on leadership with a strategic mindset to support the company's growth and commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations Management:

• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching goods.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and timely order fulfilment.
• Optimize warehouse layout and processes for greater efficiency and space utilization.

Process Improvement & Technology Implementation:

• Identify opportunities to streamline warehouse operations and reduce manual processes.
• Lead the implementation of new systems and tools, such as barcoding and warehouse management systems (WMS), to improve traceability, speed, and accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, inventory control, and delivery performance

Staff Leadership and Resource Planning:

• Manage and train warehouse staff, drivers, and delivery assistants.
• Ensure proper manpower deployment and adapt team resources to meet operational demands.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with SCDF standards, ISO certifications, and bizSAFE requirements.
• Maintain a safe and secure working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Implement and uphold 5S housekeeping principles to promote cleanliness and organization.

Inventory Control:

• Oversee stocktake processes, cycle counts, and inventory turnover control.
• Manage the handling and disposal of expired, damaged, or rejected products in accordance with company policies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Proven experience in warehouse and logistics operations, preferably within the hardware or material handling industry.
• Hands-on experience with implementing and managing warehouse optimization tools and systems (e.g., barcoding, WMS, or other inventory management technologies).
• Strong track record in team leadership and process improvement.
• Solid understanding of inventory control, space planning, and operational workflows.
• Knowledge of safety, regulatory, and compliance standards (SCDF, ISO, bizSAFE).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable working with digital tools and data for performance tracking and reporting.
• Ability to manage change, lead improvement initiatives, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to speak both English and Mandarin Chinese in order to communicate with the warehouse team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Logistic/Transportation or Warehouse Management or equivalent.
• Ability to operate Reach Truck and/or Forklift.

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 18:00
