Responsibilities:

• Identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions practiced and created by workers and recommend preventive

measures

• Assist the WSHO in organizing safety awareness activities such as toolbox meetings, safety orientation, safety-related training, safety promotional activities, safety audits & etc.

• Conduct regular HSE inspections and ensure that work activities are carried out according to agreed methods

• Assist in the investigations and reporting of accidents/incidents and recommend preventive and corrective

measures

• Ensure all Singapore statutory requirements for Health and Safety are complied with by the project team

• Ensure PTW supporting documents are valid and in place for operational performance

• Check sub-contractors' work to ensure compliance with the relevant statutory Acts and Regulations

• Ensure workforce on-site is working in accordance to the approved method statement and risk assessment.

• Coordinate site safety obstacles with on-site supervisors and engineers to allow work to progress.

• Handle and complete safety-related documents as per the project site's requirement.

• Attend daily tool-box meetings as per the site's working hours.

• Other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years relevant safety experience in construction industry

• Have experience in SP power grid work

• Attend daily tool-box meetings as per the company's policy at 0730am

• Willing to work over-time / night shift as required based on project schedules

• Possess WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) qualification or equivalent

• Certified Work at Height for Assessor

• Confined space safety Assessor certificate

• Lifting Supervisor
