Job Description & Requirements:

To assist the day-to-day operations of vessels, ensuring that they comply with industry regulations and organizational procedures. They are responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

• Vessel operations

Monitoring and updating vessel movements, managing post-fixture activities, and maintaining a database of vessel positions

• Chartering

Preparing charter parties and related documentation and managing day-to-day chartering tasks, resolving any disputes with owners and charterers and other related parties

• Cargo

Planning cargo intake, liaising with Charterers / Owners and regulatory bodies, and responding to any issues

• Communication

Acting as the primary point of contact between the shipmaster and other parties, and keeping customers updated

• Reports

Maintaining report and data on fixed fixtures, assisting with the preparation of operational and annual reports, laytime and off-hire statements, and other documentation

• Cost management

Calculating interim port and demurrage, and purchasing bunkers

• Workflow improvement

Identifying bottlenecks and proposing improvements to workflow

• Vessel documentation

To ensure vessel documents are up to date

• Working closely with ship manager

Liasing with ship manager pertaining of vessels' requirements including vessel supplies and crew changes.

Requirement:

• 1-2 years' experience as Post Fixture Operator / Vessel Operator / Ship Chartering, freshly graduates in Marine / Shipping are welcome

• Diploma or Bachelors' degree in Maritime Studies, International Shipping, or relevant majors.

• Proficient in both English and Mandarin are preferred

• Familiarity with IMOS, weather forecast software such as AWT/WNI

• Ability to work independently, under pressure and is a team player
