We are an early intervention therapy centre in Orchard Road, offering program tailored to children facing developmental or academic challenges.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support to the lead teacher by helping prepare materials, supervising classroom activities, and assisting students in their daily learning. This is an ideal role for someone eager to work in a collaborative, student-centered environment and gain hands-on experience in education.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant cum Bus Attendant to support our students both in the classroom and during their commute. This dual-role position plays a vital part in ensuring our students' daily learning and transportation experiences are smooth, safe, and enriching.

In-Class Support

• Assist teachers with daily classroom activities, including lesson preparation, material setup, and classroom organization.
• Provide individual or small group support to students, including those with additional needs.
• Support classroom management by helping to maintain a structured, safe, and positive learning environment.
• Supervise students during class activities, transitions, and break times to ensure safety and engagement.
• Provide support during summer holiday camps and assist with routine administrative tasks, including attendance tracking and the management of learning materials.
• Provide in-class relief or accompany students on school outings, offering care and supervision.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and therapists to support students' academic and developmental goals.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as directed by school leadership.

Bus Attendant Duties

• Ensure the safety and well-being of students during transportation to and from school.
• Assist students during boarding and alighting at designated pick-up and drop-off locations.
• Monitor and manage student behaviour on the bus, ensuring a calm and secure environment.
• Hand over students safely to caregivers at drop-off points.
• Communicate any incidents, safety concerns, or behavioural observations to the class teacher or school management.

Job Requirement

• Minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or related field.
• Prior experience working in an educational setting, preferably with inclusive or special needs environments.
• Experience in dealing with children with challenges will be an advantage.
• A passion for working with children in a diverse and inclusive setting
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility and a proactive approach to supporting classroom needs
• Singaporean / PR only
• Monday to Friday; 730am to 430pm
• We are looking for individuals who live nearby and can reliably report to the first bus pick-up point-in Bukit Batok (West) by 7:30 am as part of their duties as a bus attendant.
