- Responsible for managing all construction activities, ensuring adherence to performance targets, procedures, and recommending improvements to project managers.
- Oversee contractors with a focus on quality, compliance with engineering drawings, industry codes, standards, schedules, and budgets.
- Interface with engineering teams to support construction activities and resolve technical issues.
- Assist in developing and enforcing corporate construction policies to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Ensure timely project completion, minimize material wastage, and oversee day-to-day site activities.
- Manage and lead a team of engineers and construction professionals to achieve project goals.
- Work closely with other departments to resolve project-related challenges.
- Communicate with government authorities, consultants, clients, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
- Provide timely project updates to management and participate in execution meetings.
- Recruit, train, and develop a diverse workforce to meet construction and business objectives while ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Ensure all construction activities meet quality assurance, ISO standards, and client specifications.
- Optimize capital and human resource deployment for maximum productivity.
- Handle additional tasks as required to ensure smooth construction operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in end-to-end project management, delivering projects on time and within budget.
