Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Full-Time Home Teacher for a high-net-wealth family to support a primary student in academic and personal growth. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating engaging learning environments and fostering a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and guide the student's academic progress in key subjects, tailored to their individual learning style.
• Handle all academic-related matters, including communication with the school and tuition centers to ensure the student's needs are met.
• Accompany the student during daily routines, including study sessions, leisure activities, and social outings.
• Identify and nurture the student's interests, helping to cultivate their hobbies and academic passions.
• Develop individualized lesson plans and activities that align with the school curriculum and promote creativity and critical thinking.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about the student's progress, providing feedback and advice on further educational opportunities.
• Provide support with homework, projects, and exam preparation, ensuring the student feels confident and prepared.
• Utilize positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good behavior, a strong work ethic, and a love for learning.
• Organize fun and educational outings to enhance practical learning experiences.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience at the primary school level.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese as both languages are the school key subjects which require the teacher's home tuition or assistance.
• A genuine passion for working with young children, complemented by a patient and approachable personality.
• Strong understanding of child psychology and ability to provide positive and constructive guidance.
• Excellent communication skills and the capability to form strong relationships with both students and parents.
Work Schedule:
6 days a week, Mon to Fri: 12:30 PM - 8:30 PM, Weekend: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
