A leading shipping and maritime MNC is seeking a Global Tax Manager / Head of Tax to oversee its global tax function.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will independently lead the global tax function, supported by a high-performing finance team and external tax advisors. Your responsibilities include:

• Overseeing global tax compliance, reporting, and risk management across multiple jurisdictions

• Ensuring adherence to international tax laws, transfer pricing, BEPS, and freight tax regulations

• Providing strategic tax advisory to support long-term business and operational goals

• Liaising with tax authorities, manage audits, and monitor regulatory changes

• Driving process improvements and tax optimization initiatives

Your Profile

As the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience:

• At least 10 years of experience in tax advisory and compliance experience, with a strong understanding of international tax laws, freight tax, transfer pricing, and BEPS regulations.

• Prior experience within the shipping industry and exposure to Big 4 tax advisory is highly preferred.

• Hands-on, detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a track record of supporting international stakeholders
