We are looking for a skilled Junior Quantitative Developer for our Sugar Team. You will be responsible in supporting and enhancing our quantitative infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with the researchers and traders to bring models into production, and contribute to the AI strategy development.

We are looking for a skilled Junior Quantitative Developer for our Sugar Team. You will be responsible in supporting and enhancing our quantitative infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with the researchers and traders to bring models into production, and contribute to the AI strategy development.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage robust data ingestion pipelines for both structured and unstructured data
- Maintain, improve, and scale the existing infrastructure to support our quantitative models
- Integrate legacy models into a unified, modern infrastructure
- Contribute to the development and visualisation of model outputs, performance metrics, and data analytics
- Support the on-going AI and machine learning initiatives across the team
- Participate in the research and development of new trading strategies and signals
- Ensure code quality, documentation, and adherence to the best software engineering practices
- Collaborate with data scientists and researchers to ensure seamless integration of models into production
Experiences:
- At least 1-3 years of relevant experiences
- Experience with cloud services, distributed computing, and version control systems
- Experience in agricultural commodities trading or similar markets is a strong plus
- Experience in quantitative research and financial data is a strong plus
- Solid understanding of data engineering and pipeline design
- Strong analytical and statistical capabilities, with a proven track record in problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in collaborative settings
Academics:
- Degree or Master's in Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Econometrics, Computer Science or related field of study
