JOB SUMMARY
This CIB Communications role will work closely with the Bank's communication teams and business partners to ensure all CIB corporate communications are executed in a planned and consistent manner.
The candidate will be responsible for developing and managing high quality and engaging content, including specific communication programmes to support employee engagement and intra-business collaboration, and supporting external media teams with key messages and briefing notes on the relevant businesses and other initiatives.
The aim is to build awareness and understanding of the businesses with a focus on strategy execution, business and product capabilities, people engagement and culture, and the benefits of new capabilities and initiatives for employees. The candidate will also be expected to coordinate closely with the relevant businesses, function partners, the marketing team, and wider Group communications team to run communication programmes targeted at both internal and external audiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be a strategic partner to key stakeholders in identifying opportunities to support business needs through communications campaigns or employee engagement initiatives
- Work independently to develop high-quality written content for internal and external channels in support of agreed initiatives
- Manage day-to-day planning, logistics and delivery of set of communication programmes such as executive communications, leadership team calls, town Halls, employee dialogue sessions.
- Manage production of video, mobile, and other content for specific business communication programmes
- Draft briefing notes for business stakeholders to ensure that they are fully prepared for video shoots, townhalls, and other engagements
- Monitor the quality and impact of communications activities through stakeholder research, metric tracking, and internal benchmarking
- Partner with the wider CABM team in Marketing or Communications to deliver effective communications to the Bank-wide audience on CIB strategy and successes
- Report on internal communication activities for relevant stakeholders and management forums
- Develop and evolve mechanisms to gauge the effectiveness of communications
- Report on communication activities for relevant stakeholders and management forums
- Develop and deliver story ideas and content to support internal communications needs and external media engagement
- Support media relations team on key events and initiatives and support leadership with media engagement
- Work closely with business, brand and marketing teams and social media teams to develop content for both internal and external channels - including social media
- Run business communications events to support product knowledge and intra-CIB collaboration
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Ideally 12+ years' experience in a communications role
- Knowledge and understanding of CIB's main businesses
- Strong knowledge and understanding of internal and/or business communications
- Strong expertise in message development and creating differentiated content for delivery through different formats and channels
- Knowledge of media engagement - digital and traditional channels and best practice
- Experience in employee engagement, organizational culture and change communications is an advantage.
- Video production knowledge or experience
- Ability to deliver under pressure and on tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Exceptional collaboration skills with senior stakeholders, team members and partners
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Proactive, creative, hands-on and well-organised
- Culturally sensitive and able to operate with stakeholders across multiple geographies
- Project Management Skills
- Understanding of organisational barriers to effective communication in large and complex organisations
