understanding of battery technologies, product lifecycle management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision:

• Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for Durapower's battery solutions in alignment with company goals.
• Define and prioritize product features, enhancements, and roadmaps based on market trends, customer needs, and technological advancements.
• Lead product portfolio management, ensuring products meet customer needs, performance standards, and regulatory requirements

Market & Customer Insights:

• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, customer needs, and competitive threats.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to gather customer feedback, and translate it into actionable product features and improvements.
• Stay updated on industry trends, customer demands, and competitor products.

Cross-functional Leadership:

• Work closely with engineering, R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure timely and cost-effective product development and delivery.
• Lead product development cycles from ideation to commercialization, ensuring all key milestones are met.
• Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and launch plans.

Product Lifecycle Management:

• Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept, design, development, and testing to launch and post-launch optimization.
• Evaluate product performance post-launch and iterate on product design or features based on customer feedback and market needs.
• Oversee product maintenance and enhancements to ensure products remain competitive and meet evolving industry standards.

Performance Metrics & KPIs:

• Establish product KPIs and metrics to track product success and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Analyze product performance data to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with financial teams to ensure products meet profitability goals.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Regularly update executives, stakeholders, and teams on product performance, developments, and strategic goals.
• Communicate product strategies and timelines to cross-functional teams and external partners.

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure that battery products meet relevant safety standards, environmental regulations, and certifications.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to product development, deployment, and lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience (10+ years) in product management, preferably in battery technologies, energy storage, or related industries.
• Strong understanding of battery chemistry, design, manufacturing processes, and performance metrics.
• Experience with product lifecycle management and agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with lithium-ion, solid-state, or other advanced battery technologies.
• Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ISO, UL) and regulatory compliance for battery products.
• Familiarity with market research tools and product analytics platforms.
• Experience in B2B or automotive battery markets is a plus.
