S ystem Manager Responsibilities:

• \tBuilding and integrating Infra and Application System to meet the project's needs.

• \tWork with Solution Architect to assess the systems architecture proposed and working with technical staff to implement it.

• \tResolving technical problems as they arise.

• \tProviding supervision and guidance to deployment teams.

• \tInforming various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented.

• \tAnalyzing the system throughout the enterprise system

• \tCreating and maintaining or enhancing procedures, processes and designs for a computer system

• \tEnsuring that the application development team can deliver system solutions.

Skills and Qualifications

• \tMinimum 5 years system and DevOps development experience with at least 1 in a System Manager role

• \tExperience deploying Critical IT infrastructure in Government Data Centre.

• \tExperience in software engineering and system design architecture

• \tExtensive knowledge and experience working with DevOps tools, Windows, Linux and VMWare or equivalent.

• \tStrong knowledge of security, controls, privacy and compliance in the government services domain

• \tDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent

• \tIdentify and evaluate the risk to eliminate or mitigate risk in a computer system or network.

• \tKnowledge of software development process and technical skills: know the technical aspects of projects to identify risks, propose immediate solutions and provide guidance for the computer system solutions.

• \tCommunication skills: To communicate with all stakeholders such as software engineers, management, clients and vendors, convey technical language to other stakeholders often in non-technical terms.
