Job Responsibilities
Job Requirements
- Responsible in leading a team of Senior/ Supply chain buyers which includes strategic and tactical procurement of materials to support customers' fulfillment, achieving corporate and plant objectives as well as set targets
- Lead the commodity team in their job responsibility
- Inventory projection and control management
- Surplus/excess and obsolescence management
- Liability management
- NPI support on common materials
- Ensure AOS as a commodity team and escalate where necessary
- Weekly M3K reporting and measurement
- Managing of purchasing parameter
- Administer PO approval
- Vendor management for AOS
- Direct and monitor commodity team on M3K compliance
- Drives system and process improvement
- Other duties assigned
Job Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Business studies, Supply chain management or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Materials planning in a related field of which at least 3 years of supervisory experience is preferred
- Knowledge of MRP system is preferred
- Knowledge of purchasing and supply chain is preferred
- Proficient in MS Office applications
