Purpose: Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of VDL's physical infrastructure and the efficiency of the facilities' operational functions. To provide a clean and safe environment for employees, customers and visitors.

Key Area of Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of internal and outsourced service providers to drive and complete required operational activities in accordance with regulatory requirements and health and safety standards.
• Ensure that all facility management activities are in line with the site's processes and requirements.
• Responsible for site facilities operations (include cleanroom operation), facilitate space planning and be the key contact for technical issues for facilities management.
• Support Environmental Health and Safety programs to ensure facility operations meet legal requirements and health and safety standards.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders to promote operational efficiency and goodwill.
• Conduct a review of the vendor's performance to evaluate the product/service quality.
• Support implementation of the fit-out works to ensure the systems are working efficiently.
• Define and review job descriptions and competencies of staff on a regular basis.
• Define and monitor the team's key performance indicators.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to new employees to ensure clarity and a smooth onboarding process.
• Security and Access Control: Ensuring the facility is secure and managing systems for access control to prevent unauthorized entry. and safety standards.
• Support sustainability efforts to improve operational efficiency.
• Support and participate in company continuous improvement program.

Qualification & Experiences:

• Degree in Building Service Engineering/Facility Management or other relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial role in facility management or equivalent.
• Experience in working in manufacturing environment, preferably in the semiconductor equipment manufacturing
• Good problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel functions
• Good communication skills
