Responsibilites:

• Oversee a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely, accurate filings and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Able to lead tax structuring and advisory engagements (for new acquisitions, exits, restructurings and refinancing), balancing commercial views with tax and legal considerations which includes providing tax review comments with respect to tax structuring advice and transaction documentation related to Singapore and overseas deals.
• Lead discussion of tax issues identified on transactions with the relevant team and assist them in understanding the tax implications of their decisions.
• Work closely with Directors in proposal development and to bring the range of tax and other competency offerings to the clients; and
• Lead technical research and collection of relevant information and knowledge from internal and external resources to provide value-adding recommendations to clients.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA)
• SCTP Tax Accreditation (Income tax) is an added advantage
• Minimum 7 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory services
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Singtax; knowledge of RPA and automation tools is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
• Excellent time management, objective, good interpersonal and communication skills and possess good problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and familiar with Singapore Income Tax Act.
