As the Lead for the Enterprise Partnering Chapter in DIA APAC Finance, you will act as a VACC leader for a team of Finance Enterprise Partners to enable effective commercial and financial partnering. Reporting to the Head, Finance and Supply Chain, DIA APAC, you will be responsible to build and develop the team, enabling team members to achieve the desired impact. Working in close alignment with the Insights & Strategic Projects Chapter, you will lead the team to partner with the regional, sub-regional, and local affiliate leaders to co-develop business priorities to achieve the organization's financial and commercial objectives. You will be instrumental in setting the direction, prioritizing and execution of initiatives that lead to positive business outcomes.

The Opportunity

• Lead the regional Finance Enterprise Partner team to successfully partner with the regional, sub-regional and affiliate commercial and finance leaders to achieve the desired business and financial outcomes.
• Provide financial leadership and strategic insights by leveraging strong business acumen and deep understanding of financials to guide decision-making and resource allocations.
• Form trusted relationships across the enterprise and act as a proactive and critical thought partner to key business leaders to shape and contribute to the long and short term business priorities.
• Surface risks and opportunities that could affect or drive business performance and make appropriate business recommendations.
• Demonstrate VACC leadership and build a high performing team and a diverse talent pipeline by fostering an inclusive culture that provides exceptional learning and growth opportunities to team members.
• Participate in all planning cycles including the Business Plan, Target Setting and Monthly Outlook process in close collaboration with divisional finance, Insights & Strategic Projects Chapter and business partners, enabled by key insights on external market trends, financial and related performance indicators.

Who you are

• You should possess a University degree / MBA and/or Professional Accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA) and have at least 15 years of leadership experience in finance gained in an international environment at an affiliate, regional and/or global level.
• You have an extensive knowledge of the APAC region and are very familiar with the diagnostics industry in both emerging and developed markets.
• To be effective in this role, you must have experienced at least 2 senior finance leadership roles in mid-large sized commercial affiliates with proven enterprise partnering capabilities in a complex environment.
• You have solid commercial acumen and proven ability to thrive in changing external environments.
• You have a successful track record of role modeling and passionately advocating VACC leadership, Roche Operating Principles, and inclusive leadership.
• You are an experienced and highly creative leader of cross-functional and networked teams, who knows how to both attract, retain and develop diverse talent and connect them to the wider enterprise.
• You have a global / regional strategic mindset and can operate at a strategic level while maintaining the ability to be hands-on.
• You are an excellent communicator and able to influence and mobilize teams to a common purpose and vision.
• You are an enterprise thinker and effective in representing Finance as a driving force. You role model this, hold people accountable for showing up in line with our finance mindsets and behaviours and are committed and proactive in breaking down silos.
