Job Scope

We are seeking an Associate Manager or Manager to join our team, with the level depending on the candidate's experience. Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of market research experience, ideally in both quantitative and qualitative research. The ideal candidate will be able to fulfil the following scope of work:

  • Managing (or supporting) quantitative & qualitative research projects: Manage research projects end-to-end - from project scoping, and research design to execution, analysis, and reporting.
  • Methodology & instrument design: Experience with robust research methodologies and instruments tailored to client needs. This includes discussion guides, interview protocols, screeners, questionnaires, and other survey instruments across both qualitative and quantitative approaches.
  • Moderation & fieldwork management: For quantitative studies, oversee data collection processes, ensuring methodological rigour and data integrity. For qualitative studies, conduct and moderate focus groups, in-depth interviews, and ethnographic sessions with diverse target audiences.
  • Data analysis & reporting: Conduct quantitative data analysis, including basic to advanced statistical techniques. Analyse qualitative data to identify key themes, patterns, and narratives. Synthesize insights into comprehensive, actionable reports and presentations that clearly communicate findings and implications in an easy-to-understand approach.
  • Client engagement & advisory: Build and maintain strong client relationships. Understand their strategic objectives, translate them into research solutions, and provide expert insights that inform decision-making and business strategy.
  • Team collaboration & mentorship: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including other researchers, data analysts, and account managers to deliver integrated research solutions. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, encouraging knowledge-sharing and professional development.
  • Innovation & continuous improvement: Stay abreast of emerging trends, tools, and best practices in both qualitative and quantitative research. Proactively seek opportunities to improve research quality, efficiency, and impact.
  • Project management: Oversee or support project setup and coordination across internal teams and external partners - from kickoff preparation to fieldwork execution. Monitor timelines and progress, provide regular updates to clients, and ensure smooth, on-time project delivery.


Job requirements and expectations
  • Education: Minimum bachelor's degree in Market Research, Communications, Psychology, Sociology, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in market research on the agency-side is a must, ideally in both quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with experience in data interpretation and reporting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely in different setting, including with senior stakeholders and large crowd audiences.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with a diverse range of participants, clients and colleagues.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and in a highly organised approach, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Attention to detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of research and reporting.
