Centre Principal (Childcare/Infant Care)

Are you a dynamic and passionate leader in the Early Childhood sector? We are looking for an experienced Centre Principal to lead and manage our childcare/infant care centre, ensuring a high-quality learning environment for children while fostering a collaborative and professional culture among staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily centre operations, ensuring compliance with ECDA regulations and industry standards.
• Lead, mentor, and support educators, fostering a positive and professional work culture.
• Manage budgeting and financial operations to ensure efficient centre management.
• Drive the development and implementation of a high-quality curriculum and teaching methodologies.
• Develop strategic plans to promote a culture of care, trust, and continuous learning.
• Strengthen relationships with families and community stakeholders, enhancing engagement and collaboration.
• Uphold and model the centre's mission, vision, and values through strong leadership.

Requirements:

✔ L2 Certified by ECDA
✔ Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Leadership (ADECL) or equivalent
✔ Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) or Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) for Infant Care Centres (added advantage)
✔ Child First Aid certified
✔ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
✔ Experience in childcare/infant care centre management
✔ Passionate about early childhood education and excellence in teaching
✔ Well-versed in regulatory standards and codes of practice
