Responsibilities:

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of silver conductive paste and its associated manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate the procurement of raw materials and support the preparation of purchase orders.
• Manage the purchasing of consumables and equipment components.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing schedules to meet production targets.
• Operate manufacturing equipment and perform quality inspections on finished products.
• Organize the disposal and recycling of materials in accordance with company policies.
• Lead and motivate team members to meet production schedules, while improving cost efficiency and product quality.
• Continuously assess and enhance manufacturing processes for improved performance.
• Foster a work environment that enables team members to fully utilize their skills and capabilities.
• Address and resolve issues related to defective materials and products.
• Assist in the development and specification of raw materials and consumables, including contract preparation.
• Oversee mass production transitions and verify the quality of initial production batches.
• Liaise with both local and international suppliers and vendors.
• Manage routine equipment inspections and ensure timely maintenance.
• Coordinate and support the procurement and installation of new manufacturing equipment.
• Develop, maintain, and review equipment operating procedures and checklists.
• Understand and effectively use internal systems for material handling.
• Collaborate with system teams at headquarters in Japan to ensure alignment.
• Conduct periodic inventory checks of raw materials and finished products.
• Adhere to ISO9001 quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement in daily operations.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for yourself and your team members.
• Conduct performance evaluations and one-on-one meetings with team members.
• Work closely with R&D teams to support development initiatives.
• Proactively troubleshoot issues affecting plant operations in collaboration with team members.
• Communicate with facility owners and relevant government agencies regarding compliance and operational matters.
• Ensure strict adherence to workplace health and safety standards.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in chemical manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Japanese (reading, writing, and speaking) for communication with Japan HQ team is added as advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Solid understanding of quality management standards and health & safety regulations.
