We are looking for a Research Assistant to develop a rapid and cost-effective genotyping method for early detection of colon cancer.

Key Responsibilities:

The Research Assistant will work on a project on developing a MS-based rapid and cost-effective genotyping method for early detection of colon cancer.

• Primary responsibilities include molecular cloning, cell culture, DNA isolation, developing biochemical assays and chromatography-coupled mass spectrometry analysis.
• Work closely with senior researchers.
• Work with external collaborators.
• Prepare results for publication.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, entrepreneur, education or a related field
• Experience in molecular cloning, cell culture, high-performance liquid chromatography or mass spectrometry are preferred.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Competent in soft skills / general personality traits. E.g: information visualization, interaction design
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
