Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Junior Sous Chefs to join our culinary team and support the day-to-day operations of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Chinese cuisine and experience working in high-calibre establishments such as renowned Chinese restaurants or private clubs (e.g. Tanglin Club).

This is a hands-on role where you will contribute directly to food preparation, maintain kitchen standards, and support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in executing the kitchen's operations smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation and daily kitchen operations
  • Ensure consistency and quality of all dishes prepared
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all kitchen areas
  • Manage inventory, kitchen supplies, and food storage
  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours
  • Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times

Requirements
  • Singaporean / PR only
  • Minimum 2-3 years of kitchen experience, ideally in Chinese cuisine
  • Experience in premium dining or private clubs preferred
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Willingness to work weekends and public holidays as required
