Job Description

The successful candidate will work with Dr. Somabha Mukherjee on Stein's Method and Convergence Rates in Statistical Physics and Random Graph Models under a project on Inferring Complex Structural and Functional Connectivity in Causal and Graphical Models, with Applications in Genomics and Neurobiology.

The main responsibilities of the position include:
Proving theoretical results related to rates of convergence of magnetization and estimators in statistical physics and random graph models.

Qualifications

Qualifications / Discipline:
• Successful candidate should have completed his/her PhD in Statistics and Data Science / Probability Theory or related field.

Skills:
• Candidate should be skilled in proving theoretical results and also reasonable amount of coding.

Experience:
• Candidate should have at least one year of postdoctoral research experience on theoretical research and a few publications in peer-reviewed journals.
