Part-Time Lecturer for Photography: DP2006 Principles of Lighting
The School of Art, Design and Media (ADM) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, invites qualified candidates to apply as a part-time lecturer for an undergraduate course. The part-time position is for teaching Principles of Lighting commencing in August 2025.
This course introduces students to the control and manipulation of light for a range of situations for film or digital capture. Students will learn to observe the quality of natural light as a basis for photographic studio lighting techniques and creative applications. Classroom activity will discuss the theory and application while studio participation will provide hands on experience.
Candidates should have at least a Master's or related field with a track record of production and creative practice in media. Any past teaching experience at Undergraduate Level is preferred Preference will be given to candidates with a good understanding of contemporary photographic practices.
