Excavator Operators

Excavator Operators are skilled professionals primarily working in the construction industry.

They can also work in the mining industry or any other field that requires extensive earthmoving activities.

They operate heavy excavation equipment, like hydraulic excavators, loaders, and backhoes, to dig, move and place earth, rocks, and other materials.

This is often done to prepare a construction site for building or to dig trenches for utility lines.

Their job entails following precise instructions regarding where and how deep to excavate.

They may also be tasked with smoothing out the land after excavation, removing debris, or creating emergency access roads.

Responsibilities:

• Excavator Operators also perform routine maintenance checks on their equipment to ensure it's in good working order.
• They are responsible for identifying any mechanical issues and reporting them to the relevant personnel for repair.
• Safety is a top priority for Excavator Operators.
• They must comply with all safety guidelines and procedures, ensuring not just their safety, but also that of their co-workers and the public.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years working experience
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
• Problem-solving skills to quickly identify and respond to machinery malfunctions
