Key Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, bone, tie, and grind meats using hand tools and equipment
• Prepare meat cuts for display in chiller and for customer orders
• Monitor product freshness, stock levels, and proper storage
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the butchery area
• Provide expert advice and assistance to customers on meat selection, cooking methods, and portioning
• Ensure proper labeling and pricing of products
• Follow safety and food handling procedures at all times

Requirements

• Prior experience in butchery or fresh meat handling (supermarket/retail experience a plus)
• Knowledge of meat cuts and preparation techniques
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Physically fit and able to work in cold environments
• Team player with a positive and responsible attitude
• Able to work weekends and public holidays
