Global Account Manager - Sales (Aviation & Aerospace)

Our client is a leader in the industry, with a strong global presence and a commitment to excellence in serving clients in the aviation and aerospace sector. We're growing and looking for a highly motivated Key Account Manager to nurture and expand relationships with key global accounts in the aviation and aerospace space.

We are seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager with a "farmer" sales mindset-focused on growing existing relationships rather than hunting for new business. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing strategic accounts, particularly in the aviation and aerospace industry, and will be adept at driving long-term client satisfaction, retention, and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for global key accounts in the aviation and aerospace industry.
  • Develop deep relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from operational to executive.
  • Understand client goals, challenges, and market dynamics to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (sales, product, operations, and customer success teams) to ensure account success.
  • Drive account growth through renewals, upselling, and identifying opportunities for expanded service offerings.
  • Manage account planning, forecasting, and reporting activities.
  • Arrange face to face meeting as needed to maintain close contact with clients.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of account management experience in a sales role growing in existing accounts.
  • Experience working with/in the aviation and/or aerospace industry.
  • Proven success in managing and growing complex, long-term client relationships.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Comfortable navigating cross-cultural environments and working with international teams.
  • Experience with CRM tools and account planning tools.
