Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management & Growth Strategy
- Manage daily financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and full sets of accounts.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and profitability analysis to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (tax, GST, CPF, annual returns).
- Monitor expenditures, budgets, and inventory to safeguard profitability.
- Provide strategic financial advice to management on funding, investments, and expansion opportunities.
- Establish stronger financial controls and systems to support company scaling.
2. Sales & Business Development (Expansion Focus)
- Lead sales efforts to grow market share in blasting, painting, welding, and engineering services.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities locally and regionally.
- Build long-term customer partnerships and strengthen client retention.
- Oversee quotation, tender, and contract reviews to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Support expansion into new sectors and markets with targeted strategies.
3. Administration & Human Resources
- Strengthen and formalize HR policies, SOPs, and management systems to support company growth.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and career development to build a stronger workforce.
- Manage payroll, employee relations, and performance management.
- Implement systems to improve workflow efficiency and reporting.
- Foster a positive, growth-oriented workplace culture aligned with company values.
4. Operations & Project Support
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful execution of larger and more complex projects.
- Align resource allocation, procurement, and logistics with company expansion needs.
- Monitor project performance, profitability, and client satisfaction.
- Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity standards.
5. Leadership & Strategic Planning
- Build and mentor cross-functional teams in finance, sales, and admin to handle increased business scale.
- Work closely with senior management to design and implement strategic growth plans.
- Recommend process improvements, digital tools, and automation to enhance efficiency.
- Provide regular business updates and market insights to guide company direction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration.
- Minimum 8 years of experience, preferably in finance, accounting experience.
- Strong expertise in financial management and compliance.
- Proven success in sales/business development with growth-oriented strategies.
- Experience in HR, administration, and operational management.
- Strong leadership and ability to build scalable systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, accounting software, and ERP/project management tools (advantageous).
