Job Summary:

Oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations for advanced machinery and precision equipment. The ideal Production Manager (Machine Tool) will possess a strong engineering background, proven success in lean manufacturing and process optimization, and exceptional team leadership skills within a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Create and execute plans to boost output, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Work with various departments and clients for smooth operations and goal achievement.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve processes and meet targets.
• Supervise a large team to meet production goals and quality standards.
• Maintain a secure work environment by enforcing safety regulations.
• Implement and enforce quality checks to identify and fix errors.
• Evaluate employee performance, give feedback, and address personnel matters.
• Keep precise records of production, including attendance, machine downtime, and materials.
• Monitor quality issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Guide, encourage, and train production staff.
• Foster positive relationships between management and employees.
• Develop and manage budgets for the department.
• Organize and manage employee training programs.
• Check daily reports for accuracy.
• Oversee production activities according to the master plan.
• Manage production costs and maintain profitability.
• Ensure plant safety, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
• Handle other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Master's degree advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in a machine tool or heavy industrial machinery manufacturing/production/assembly setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in production methodologies, including 5S, safety protocols, and ISO 9001 standards.
• Successful track record of managing and motivating production teams of at least 50 personnel.
• Extensive experience in the manufacturing and assembly of heavy industrial machinery.
