Job Summary
Standard Chartered is looking to build upon its continued success by adding a Talent Acquisition (TA) Partner to its HR function in Singapore.
The role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end talent acquisition process to drive the delivery of the Technology & Operations (T&O) strategy for the lateral hiring across the function. The TA Partner will be required to work in close partnership with the TA Leadership team, HRBPs and other COEs to provide consultative and operational support to deliver a comprehensive and value-added service, ensuring all TA activities are aligned and effectively communicating the employer brand.

The role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end talent acquisition process to drive the delivery of the Technology & Operations (T&O) strategy for the lateral hiring across the function. Key Responsibilities
Strategy
- Design and deliver innovative sourcing strategies and solutions to meet business growth needs
- Proactively pipeline and partner with recruitment agencies to identify relevant candidates using a variety of channels
- Online advertising (careers website, external job board postings) and automated electronic candidate searches
- Alumni and internal referrals
- Drive the delivery of T&O TA strategy and partner with key stakeholders to deploy targeted TA solutions
- Drive and support key initiatives like strategic workforce planning, differentiated solution for hiring in critical areas and partner with other teams to drive operational excellence
Business
- Partner with COEs and HRBPs to facilitate and execute successful internal deployment initiatives
- Advise hiring managers on shortlisted candidates to progress to the next stage, ensuring the right decisions are made, challenging the business' recommendations as required
- Manage conflicts in stakeholder expectations, cost constraints, employee experience and HR best practices in solution design
Processes
- Efficient end to end applicant management for each JR, including timely review and shortlisting of applications, promptly updating applicants and responding to any queries, arranging interviews & briefing candidates for interviews
- Conduct preliminary assessments, as required, assessing candidates' talents, fit and readiness and setting realistic role expectations
- Ensure compliance with relevant operational and people risk controls and employment legislation
- Escalate any issues and risks, as appropriate so that they can be appropriately tracked and manage
- Complete identification, legal right to work and address verification during the interview process
People & Talent
- Collaborate effectively with all stakeholders to drive a great candidate and hiring manager experience
- Create and maintain a culture of open communication at all levels which subsequently filters through to excellent customer engagement
- Role model valued behaviours, leading by example
Risk Management
- Work with CoE teams to ensure all end-to-end TA processes across T&O are followed in line with policy to mitigate any risk exposure.
- Understanding of operational risks in areas of responsibility
- Proactive risk management, remain vigilant in identifying and managing forward-looking risks, flagging potential problems to relevant stakeholders in advance of issues arising
- Minimise operational loss and audit failures and take proactive measures to respond to issues once they have arisen
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, learning from past failures to ensure constant control and governance awareness and prevent reoccurrence
- Ensure all reporting and metrics are delivered to pre-agreed standards.

Our Ideal Candidate
- 8+ years of deep talent acquisition experience at senior levels across complex, multinational environments
- Ability to deal with high recruitment volumes as well as specialist vacancies with a specific focus on prior Technology & Operations hiring
- Understanding and experience of developing sourcing strategies and managing multiple recruitment channels to deliver recruitment targets within budget.
- Experience in working with PSLs, and good knowledge of the marketplace, competitors and best practices
- Sound communication and influencing skills, ability to network effectively, establish credibility quickly and build sustainable relationships with candidates and hiring managers
- Commercial awareness & business acumen
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills; multi-cultural awareness & sensitivity
- Ability to deal assertively with conflict, and remain positive when under pressure
