Job Description:

This job will be responsible for Corporate Credit officer. Scope involves the below but not limited to:

• Review and comment on credit submissions of large and middle-size corporate, bank, NBFI in ASEAN and India. Participate in Head Office meetings and discussions as required on credit submitted, or approve cases within delegated authority.
• Ensure risk capabilities are objective, consistent and compliant with internal credit policies, procedures, and local and Taiwan's regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the quality of credit applications meet the bank's standards.
• Credit portfolio management. Update the monthly/quarterly reporting and monitor the industry concentration.
• Review/check the regulatory reporting to Singapore MAS (half-yearly).
• Review SG Branch's procedures, discuss, and seek sign-off locally and from Head Office.
• Liaise with internal & external legal counsel for Legal opinion on loan documents.
• Attend to queries and provide advisory to SG Branch's staff.
• Response to queries and report requirement from, the branch's Compliance team, Head Office, and auditors (internal and external).

Requirement:

• Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years of working experiences in credit, lending or related activities of Banking industry (including at least 3 years as Credit officer of Corporate banking).
• Credit evaluation experience with complex credits, structuring, project finance, PE fund, or trade finance products are involved.
• Experience in Marketing is a definite advantage.
• Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the bank and borrowers operate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with Head Office colleagues in Taiwan.
• A team player who can manage efficiently in a changing environment.
