- Assessing the value of customer items such as gold, jewellery and other valuables
- Providing informed and professional recommendations to customers on the appropriate pawn loan amounts
- Handling all aspects of the pawn loan process, including documentation and record-keeping
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service and ensuring a positive client experience
- Restocking and organising retail displays to attract and engage customers
- Assisting with other general retail duties as required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer-facing retail or pawnshop role
- Strong numerical and analytical skills to accurately assess the value of customer items
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to provide top-notch customer service
- Organised and detail-oriented approach to maintain meticulous records and documentation
- Flexible and adaptable to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced retail environment
- Knowledge of pawnshop operations and jewellery/gold valuation would be highly advantageous
