Job Description
Job Requirement
- Assigns workers their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
- Supervising, delegating and monitoring everyday housekeeping tasks across the premises.
- Establishes standards and procedures for work of housekeeping staff.
- Maintaining the quality of housekeeping activities with routine checks.
- Inspect guest rooms and premises regularly to ensure furnishing, facilities and equipment are cleaned, repaired, maintained and replaced when necessary.
- Conducts orientation training and in-service training to explain policies, work procedures, and to demonstrate use and maintenance of equipment.
- Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies.
- Coordinates room allocation in conjunction with the Front Office Team.
- Makes recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation.
- Supervise the linen room operations as when and where required
- Resolve guests queries and complaints or issues with housekeeping
- Performs cleaning duties in cases of emergency or staff shortage.
- Any ad-hoc task as assigned
Job Requirement
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Hospitality Housekeeping department
- Possess good interpersonal and communication, organising and supervisory skills
- A team player who is able to work independently with a spirit of excellence Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and systems
- An applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays is ideal.
