School of Physical and Mathematical Science (SPMS) has recently implemented a second major in medical physics which serve to educate the students in the physics and clinical aspect of modern healthcare technologies in the field of radiation oncology, diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine. Lecturers from the medical physics industries are well-poised to assist in the teaching of the new medical physics modules due to their extensive real-world clinical experience with medical physics. This will ensure the students will not just benefit from the theoretical knowledge, but also the important clinical medical physics knowledge which could improve their chances of employment after graduation.

  • Teaching of lectures and tutorials for the assigned modules


  • Develop lecture materials for the assigned modules


  • Conduct quizzes, tests and other continual assessments.


  • Marking of test and exams


The lecturer will report directly to the course coordinator.

  • At least a master's degree in physics, Engineering or related disciplines


  • More than 4 years' experience as a medical physicist in clinical setting


  • Good command of English language


  • Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
