Work location: Chip Bee Gardens (Holland Village)
Prioritize customers - Greet every customer, treat them as your guest, serve with a smile, take initiative to approach customer and build rapport with them;
Outlet sales target - Work together with management to implement ideas in order to achieve sales target;
SOP - Develop SOP and also be responsible for training new staff;
Inventory & cost control - ensure adequate ingredients are ordered and kept for use. Source for cheaper alternatives where possible;
Product knowledge - Understand the products so as to be able to introduce them to customers;
Ensure bread and cake displays are fully stocked at opening time, as well as throughout operating hours. Ensure stock level and availability is updated on POS system;
Barista duties - ensure coffee is calibrated and standards are maintained. Brew coffee/tea/milo dispensers if there are preorders;
Suggestive selling and recommend promotional items to every single guest;
Food preparation such as heating up pastries, packing takeaway orders, making simple sandwiches;
Maintain cleanliness & tidiness of the cafe - glass display and glass doors are wiped regularly, chairs are placed neatly, tables are cleared and wiped timely;
Wash dishes;
Sweep & mop floor, wash toilet;
Any other duties as required by the Company
