Responsibilities:

• Work with multinational teams across the globe with exposure to important high value claims,
• The type of hull and machinery claims include various damages arising from machinery damage, fire, collisions, grounding, etc.,
• Conduct thorough investigations into claims, analyzing circumstances and gathering evidence,
• The job will entail appointment of surveyors, liaising with casualty investigators, lawyers, experts, opposing parties, adjusters and reporting regularly to insurance companies with detailed recommendations,
• Communicate with policyholders to gather information regarding the claim use internal and external resources when appropriate,
• Lead negotiations with clients and stakeholders to achieve fair settlements, especially on claims involving collisions,
• Cheque posting and tracking of aging cases.

Requirements:

• Claims handling experience in one of the areas: Casualty, Property, WICA, Marine or Cargo,
• Strong verbal and written communication skills,
• Team player as well as capable of individual performance.
