Role : Payments Solutions Architect - Banking

Key Technical Requirements:

Technical Expertise in Payments Architectures is required

• At least 10 years' relevant experience preferably in a Finance Institution.
• 3+ years recent working experience in Payment Architectures is a must
• Must have experience and Proficiency in designing scalable, high-performance payment systems (e.g., SWIFT, RTGS, UPI, GEB, CEW etc.).
• Experience in Modern Technologies and knowledge of cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), microservices architecture, APIs, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Security and Compliance: Strong understanding of data encryption, PCI DSS compliance, fraud detection systems, and KYC/AML protocols.
• Integration Skills: Expertise in integrating with payment gateways, acquiring banks, and third-party payment processors.
• Education: Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Development and Delivery Skills

• Programming Proficiency: Hands-on experience with languages like Java, Python, or Go, and frameworks suited for payment systems.
• DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and monitoring tools.
• Agile/Scrum Methodology: Ability to manage iterative development cycles with a clear focus on deliverables.

Domain Knowledge

• End-to-End Payment Flows: Understanding of transaction flows, reconciliations, settlements, and chargebacks.
• Real-Time Payment Systems: Experience with instant payments and open banking frameworks.
• Emerging Trends: Awareness of tokenization, blockchain solutions for payments, and AI/ML applications in fraud detection.
