Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for the position of Research Assistant / Research Engineer in the Department of Computer Science, School of Computing (SoC). We seek to play an active role both internationally and locally in the core and emerging areas of Computer Science and Information Systems.

The Research Assistant is to investigate an AI-based adaptive, robust and explainable intrusion detection techniques. While learning an AI model, the network traffic packet or sequences may contain various types of confusing information, such irrelevant features or a large volume of noise, which can make the model on-robust and hard to explain. The Research Assistant will propose the abstraction technique on the captured information such that the noisy and irrelevant information can be removed, and obtain abstracted sequences contain the key information can be used to build a high-quality and efficient model.

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree with Honours in a relevant area; and
• Experience in research.
