About the Job
As the Business Manager for the industrial microbiology segment in the Asia-Pacific region, you will lead sales operations and strategic business development, setting and executing business strategies, managing a regional sales team, and cultivating strong customer relationships across key sectors. Your role will be critical in driving market expansion, improving sales performance, and aligning regional goals with global initiatives. Key responsibilities include developing strategies to grow market share and achieve revenue targets, mentoring the sales team to foster a high-performance culture, leading customer engagement and project execution, and designing marketing plans in collaboration with regional teams. You will also conduct market research to identify new opportunities, oversee compliance with regulatory standards, manage the regional budget, and provide regular business updates and insights to senior leadership.

Skills and Experience Required
The ideal candidate will possess:

• Holds a degree in a microbiology, life science discipline or a similar field
• Brings 5 to 7 years of commercial or managerial experience in the industrial microbiology or adjacent industries
• Proven ability to drive revenue growth and deliver business results across regional or multi-country markets
• Well-versed in the regulatory environment and market dynamics specific to the Asia-Pacific region
• Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across functions
