- Conversant in corporate work and contract management in the engineering / construction industry
- Ability to work closely with lawyers and in-house contract personnel
- Review and advise on non-disclosure agreements, major construction tenders, project management agreements and standard industry forms of contract such as REDAS, PSSCOC, FIDIC including appropriate risk mitigation
- Participate in negotiations with counter-parties
- Review and advise on various forms of financing documentation, including but not limited to knowledge on covenants, corporate guarantee/ security, and default regime
- Analyse and report to management on legislative developments
- Advise on, attend and manage external counsel for disputes which the organisation is involved in (especially statutory adjudication)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in local law firms or engineering companies, construction companies or real estate developers.
- Candidate must exhibit initiative, enthusiasm, good inter-personal skills, confident in decision making and be commercially minded.
