Job Role: Manage and coordinate events from the first customer interaction through completion, while also driving sales growth and marketing efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Liaison: Meet customers, understand their needs, and ensure all event details are gathered beforehand.
• Event Planning: Analyze Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to plan setups, buffets, AV, and timelines, addressing any special customer requests.
• Sales Targets: Work with the team to set and achieve clear sales goals.
• Sales Strategy: Develop plans to increase sales and meet profit targets set by management.
• Budgeting: Manage budgets to support sales activities.
• Brand Sales: Create specific sales approaches and targets for each brand.
• Market Growth: Identify key customer groups and develop strategies to increase sales within them.
• New Business: Bring in new clients for the company.
• Daily Operations: Oversee the smooth running of events daily.
• Market Analysis: Research and analyze pricing and packages in the market.
• Staff Development: Track how staff are performing and plan their career growth.
• Brand Management: Define and promote the unique identity and values of each brand.
• Financial Goals: Work with the team to achieve profit and loss targets set by management.
• Marketing Strategies: Decide on effective marketing activities within budget to meet sales goals.
• Marketing Materials: Work with the marketing team on creating promotional materials.
• Sales Improvement: Take action if monthly sales targets are not met.
• Campaign Creation: Develop at least three marketing campaigns for each brand every year.
• Team Leadership: Supervise marketing managers to achieve their goals within the budget.
• Other Duties: Handle any other tasks assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, or a related field.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 2 years of experience supervising in banquets, catering sales, or catering services.
• Financial Understanding: Knowledge of profit and loss statements.
• Food & Beverage Knowledge: Understanding of food and wine pairing and menu creation.
• Wedding Experience: Experience managing wedding events is preferred.
• Communication Skills: Ability to interact well with customers, staff, and suppliers.
• Problem-Solving: Good at finding solutions to issues.
• Leadership: Good leadership abilities.
