LOCUM Medical Doctor / General Practitioner (EASTERN region)

Job Description / Job Responsibilities

• Provide acute and chronic care consultations and treatments for all patients.

• Conduct health screenings and reviews.

• Perform minor procedures and treatments, may also be able to perform intricate surgeries for SP doctors.

• Maintain high standards of care duties.

• Ensure timely delivery of patient care duties.

• Perform diagnosis and prescribing of medication according to patient conditions.

• Provide referral to patients if specialist check-ups are required.

• Ensure timely follow up with patients' conditions and perform return visits when required.

• Ensure up-to-date clinical knowledge.

• Participate in outreach and health promotion programs.

• Provide teleconsultation as well.

Requirements:

• Recognized medical degree by Singapore Medical Council (SMC).

• MBBS/ MD Full registration with SMC.

• Possess at least 3 years of past housemanship working experience as a medical officer/surgeon (or equivalent) in the relevant discipline.

• In active clinical practice.

• Good oral and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills and a good team player.
