Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Implement and monitor health & safety and environment management procedures and practices at work site
- Implement safety procedures at work, enforce safety regulations and promote safety culture
- Conduct daily inspection and take follow-up actions to ensure safety compliance
- Industrial incident & accident investigation
- Conduct safety induction/ tool-box meeting / training and emergency drills
- Develop safety & emergency response procedures and spearhead safety committee, etc.
- Ensure proper documentation for all safety, environmental and health disciplines.
- Conduct Risk assessment and implementation of risk control measures at workplace.
Requirements:
- Possess relevant qualification and is a Registered Safety Officer with MOM
- Knowledge of WSHA and OSHA legislation as well as BizSafe
- Minimum 3 years working experience as a Safety Officer in MRT / LTA project with Main Contractor.
- Strong communication skills in both mandarin and English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to communicate effectively with site personnel, workers and subcontractors.
- Team player with passion for driving excellence, good facilitation skills, strategic change management and intervention capabilities.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and be proactive in addressing improvement opportunities.
- Ability to work efficiently using Microsoft Office applications
