Position Statement

The Assistant Outlet Manager, Ginger Lily, assists the Outlet Manager with the management of the lobby lounge and bar, in line with prescribed Hilton policies and procedures.

What will I be doing?

As the Assistant Outlet Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
  • Ensure high customer service standards with a guest-focused approach.
  • Take initiative to resolve issues and communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Contribute to improving hotel operations and promoting Hilton services to guests and suppliers.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests, assist during peak periods, and proactively train staff.
  • Ensure consistent service delivery according to the Guest Satisfaction and SOP manuals.
  • Monitor performance, conduct training, and review departmental standards regularly.
  • Plan resources ahead and manage smooth department operations during service periods.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Housekeeping for cleanliness and procedure adherence.
  • Lead team communication, briefings, and goal alignment with the hotel's objectives.
  • Assist with sales opportunities, cost control, financial analysis, and staff leave planning.
  • Support recruitment, orientation, training, and development of team members.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Marketing and Promotions to develop strategies to promote the outlet and its offerings to guests, including social media and in house guest.
  • Manage promotional campaigns within the hotel.
  • Coordinate and manage special/ buy out event ensuring successful execution and guest satisfaction.
  • Retail Management (e.g. Mooncake, CNY and Festive).
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

An Assistant Outlet Manager serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
  • 2-3 years in a managerial position in a 4 / 5-star category hotel.
  • Good English skills, both written and verbal to meet business needs.
  • Motivated and committed, approaching all tasks with enthusiasm and seize opportunities to learn new skills or knowledge in order to improve personal performance.
  • Flexible and responds quickly and positively to changing requirements including the performance of any tasks requested of you.
  • Maintain high team focus by showing cooperation and support to colleagues in the pursuit of team goals.
  • Strong leadership, people management and training skills.
  • Guest oriented and able to confidently build and exceed service standards.
  • Thorough knowledge of service, cost control in F&B, labour controls, beverage menu writing, maintenance, merchandising, and accountings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to details.
  • Show commitment and ability to develop as an Outlet Manager in your next role.
  • Outgoing personality
