Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Regional Internal Controls Manager with expertise in setting up and implementing effective internal control and SOX frameworks. You will be responsible for designing, establishing, and maintaining internal control systems that ensure compliance with financial regulations, mitigate risks, and enhance operational efficiency. This role requires a hands-on approach to developing controls and processes from the ground up, as well as overseeing their ongoing management and improvement.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration. Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA are a plus.
• More than 10 years of work experience, with the initial 4-5 years starting off in reputable audit firm and gaining experience in internal controls role within consumer/internet sector.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, SOX compliance, corporate governance, regulatory requirements, and internal auditing practices, along with solid business sense and acumen.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in designing, implementing, and evaluating internal control processes.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is necessary to communicate with stakeholders across different geographical markets.
