Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Rehabilitation Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role focuses primarily on knee injury recovery, both post-surgical and non-surgical, helping patients restore mobility, regain strength, reduce pain, and return safely to daily activities or sports.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs targeting knee injuries such as ACL tears, meniscus damage, and total knee replacements.
• Conduct thorough physical assessments, evaluating range of motion, gait, strength, and functional capabilities.
• Provide a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as TENS, ultrasound, and cryotherapy.
• Track and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physicians, and other allied health professionals for coordinated care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and safe movement techniques.
• Maintain adherence to all clinical and safety standards in practice.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in orthopedic or musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
• Valid practicing license/registration as required by local health authorities (e.g., AHPC in Singapore).
• CPR / Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

Required Skills

• In-depth knowledge of biomechanics and knee joint mechanics.
• Proficiency in manual therapy and designing therapeutic exercise regimens.
• Empathetic and patient-centered care approach with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and guide patients through each stage of their recovery.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with knee injury rehabilitation caused by accidents.
• Additional certifications in dry needling, Kinesio taping, or similar advanced techniques.
• Familiarity with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) approaches will be an advantage.
