Job Summary:

The Facade Contract Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing facade contracts, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with contractual obligations. This role involves contract negotiation, risk assessment, cost control, and coordination with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver high-quality facade systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management & Compliance:

• Review and negotiate facade contracts, ensuring alignment with company policies and project objectives.
• Manage contractual risks and resolve disputes efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, industry standards, and local regulations.
• Monitor contract variations, claims, and extensions of time (EOT).

Project Coordination & Execution:

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and design teams to ensure facade works are delivered according to the contract.
• Oversee project progress and ensure contractual milestones are met.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical and contractual issues.

Cost Control & Budgeting:

• Manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and financial reporting related to facade works.
• Monitor and control costs to prevent overruns and ensure profitability.
• Prepare and assess variations, claims, and final account settlements.

Risk Management & Dispute Resolution:

• Identify potential contractual and project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Handle claims, disputes, and arbitration processes if necessary.
• Ensure proper documentation for claims and variations.

Procurement & Supply Chain Coordination:

• Liaise with procurement teams to source materials and subcontractors for facade works.
• Ensure contracts with suppliers and subcontractors align with project requirements.
• Manage supplier and subcontractor performance to ensure timely and quality delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Main Contractor or construction contract management.
• Expertise in contract law, claims management, and cost control.
• Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office.
