We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Manager, Casework & Counselling to lead and oversee case management, counselling services, and intervention programs. This role involves supervising a team of social workers and counsellors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support services, and working closely with stakeholders to address the needs of individuals and families in our community.

Requirements
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Manager, Casework & Counselling to lead and oversee case management, counselling services, and intervention programs. This role involves supervising a team of social workers and counsellors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support services, and working closely with stakeholders to address the needs of individuals and families in our community.
Roles and Responsibilities
Provision of Quality Services
- Provide timely and responsive services in financial assistance, casework management and counselling to beneficiaries.
- Collaborate with community partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders to strengthen support networks.
Service Development and Evaluation
- Establish and oversee Case Review processes and systems to ensure adequate accountability and supervision of all cases.
- Develop work plans for the department in alignment with organisational goals.
- Oversee implementation of operational strategies and financial management for the department.
- Lead resolution of operational issues within the department.
- Develop service standards, performance indicators and operating guidelines for the department.
Staff Performance and Development Management
- Manage staff performance planning and coaching at the departmental level
- Training & Development - Assess capability gaps within the team
- Oversee implementation of professional development programmes for the team
- Conduct audits on service quality to ensure compliance with policies.
Resource Management
- Oversee resource allocation, reporting, and budgeting for casework and counselling programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counselling, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in casework and counselling, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and crisis intervention skills.
